MiQ-UV CEL reactive anti-UV finishing agent

MiQ-UV CEL can be used in padding, impregnation, and dye-bath finishing processes. Considering the reactivity with fiber groups, padding and dye-bath finishing are recommended.

MiQ-UV CEL should be pre-diluted with warm water, stirred evenly, and then added to the finishing bath.

Properties:

Product Composition:
Reactive ultraviolet absorber

Application Areas:
For fabrics containing reactive groups, such as cellulose fibers, nylon, silk, etc., to improve their ultraviolet resistance.

Properties:

  • Strong ultraviolet resistance
  • Absorbs ultraviolet light, significantly reducing transmittance
  • Good fiber affinity, can be applied together with reactive and acid dyes

Technical Data:

  • Appearance: white to beige viscous liquid
  • Ionic character: anionic / non-ionic
  • Specific gravity (20 °C): approx. 1.1 g/cm³

Instructions:

Application with Reactive Dyes (Dye-Bath Process):

  • Before dyeing, add 2–4% (o.w.f.) of pre-diluted MiQ-UV CEL.
  • Run for 10 minutes, then add dye and continue dyeing.

Application with Acid Dyes (Dye-Bath Process):

  • Before dyeing, add 2–5% (o.w.f.) of pre-diluted MiQ-UV CEL.
  • Run for 10 minutes, then add leveling agents, acid-releasing agents / pH regulators, and other auxiliaries.
  • Avoid exposure of MiQ-UV CEL to strong acidic chemicals to prevent hydrolysis.

Note: For superfine denier fabrics, the dosage of MiQ-UV CEL should be increased to 8–10%.

Exhaustion Process:

  • Dosage: 2–5% (o.w.f.) MiQ-UV CEL
  • pH: 5.5–6.5
  • Temperature: 50–60 °C
  • Time: 15–25 minutes

Storage:
This product is sensitive to freezing and overheating. Avoid storage below 5 °C or above 40 °C, as irreversible changes may occur. If there is any doubt about product usability after exposure to freezing or overheating, conduct a trial before application.

For best results, always use freshly prepared solutions.
